Truth is something thats is as valuable as the person expressing it decides it is. We as humans tend to look at it with a double standard. We need it and are aggressively demanding it when it gives us benefits, and tend to ignore it, not even wan to hear, and/or fight to silence it specially when it points out our flaws, ugly facts, or simply things that we dislike, or are embarrassed of being reviled.
Yet truth can be simply and kindly regulated, in a matter that can shape society's interaction and behavior. If we dislike the revealing part that much. We shall restrain our selves and make it the norm that information that would not advance, help, and/or protect the audience regardless of its entertaining value, be branded as waist and a manipulative behavior even if the source of this information is the person in the topic or the cause. Some people may argue that this could go against the freedom of speech, but that is not the case. Some Actions and information are normally considered and or categorized as classified or secrets, unworthy to publish, or simply a danger to society's wellbeing or security.
To agree with that ideology or disagree is a matter that has being disputed well over the years, and so far the majority agrees to live with that fact and a revolution to over throw it has yet to start. Which implies that its a solution that can still work. Knowing all that just makes it cleat that a person's privacy regardless of his or her state of mind is a base of that person right to feel secure in the future and giving it up is just as harmful as suicide or self endangerment.
We can firmly agree that it should be cornered just as smoking in public places or in motion pictures which after all this clarification may be considered as peanuts to danger revealing an unneeded truth, or even asking about it. This all makes it much simpler to spot liars and reduce their ability to develop deception skills due to the lack of practice. Thus making deserved truth a rule of thumb, and maybe one day we could be satisfied for a while with that solution until some new revelation or a genus comes up with a better one.
